Egmont Key Boat Charter
A three hour trip where you and your group can have the opportunity to take a boat trip specifically dedicated to Egmont Key. This trip will consist of cruising to the state park, touring the state park, and then cruising back from the island.
This trip will leave from the St. Pete Beach area and cruise our Gulf of Mexico waterway down to the state park. We will remain on anchor for as long as the touring may take, then heading back through the Gulf of Mexico back home!
Our three hour Egmont Key trip is a dedicated experience to our prized State Park. During this trip, there will be around 25-30 minutes of travel time to arrive at the State Park. Once arrived, you will be given the opportunity to get off the boat and walk the park by foot. The island served as a camp for captured Seminoles at the end of the Third Seminole War. In 1898, the Spanish-American War became at its heightened levels, Fort Dade was built on the island and stood tall until 1923. The island is still prized with some of the remaining artifacts from Fort Dade and has been made into a historical walking destination. Besides touring the island by foot, you are able to do snorkeling, shelling, and swimming as the water clarity is at its highest in the area.
